First, you will meet with San Diego jewelry designer Carl Blackburn to discuss your custom ring or fine jewelry. During the meeting, you can share with Carl photos you may have saved to your phone.
He’ll closely examine your jewelry photos, and share with you additional ideas, as well as possible handcrafted accents like filigree, engraving, and milgraining.
Once a custom design is decided upon, he’ll create a 3D CAD illustration of your custom engagement ring or fine jewelry, followed by the making of a resin model so that it can be worn, and its look and feel evaluated.
