Escondido is in the North County region of San Diego, with C. Blackburn Jewelers being about a 30 minute drive to the Southeast. This location makes our estate jewelry store a convenient place to sell gold jewelry when visiting the beaches of La Jolla.
Escondido’s cultural centerpiece is the California Center for the Arts, which features a concert hall, a theater, an art museum, and multiple conference facilities. This arts complex hosts a wide range of performances, from symphony orchestras and ballet to contemporary dance and theater, alongside art exhibitions that feature both local and international artists.
Another key aspect of Escondido’s cultural identity is its vibrant downtown area, which is home to an array of art galleries, studios, and public art installations. The Second Saturday Art Walk is a popular monthly event that we have often visited. During these art walks, visitors can explore galleries, meet artists, and enjoy live music.
Another one of our favorite events in Escondido is the annual Día de los Muertos festival, which honors the city’s Mexican heritage through traditional music, dance, and altars. Similarly, the Escondido Tamale Festival celebrates the rich culinary traditions of the Hispanic community with food, entertainment, and cultural activities.
