The Designs Steps we will take
Carl Blackburn ensures the jewelry design process is a fun and creatively exciting experience. Here are the steps we will take to create your custom jewelry:
1. Meet with Carl Blackburn to discuss your jewelry design project. You can share photos of rings or fine jewelry in the style you like, as well as your own design ideas.
Carl will provide feedback and present various options to make your custom jewelry a reality within your desired budget.
2. Once you agree on a ring or jewelry design, Carl will create a 3D CAD illustration of your Point Loma custom jewelry.
3. After you approve the CAD drawings, a resin model of your jewelry is often made — this is always true when creating a ring. This resin model of a ring is wearable, so that you can assess the look and feel of the ring, and be sure it’s perfect.
Finally, your handcrafted ring or fine jewelry is delivered, ready to be presented to the wearer. The entire process typically takes about 4 weeks.
