This platinum engagement ring by C. Blackburn Jewelers approaches luxury with remarkable confidence and control. Every surface, angle, and diamond contributes to a sense of richness and visual drama, yet the design never loses its discipline. From this elevated angle, the ring immediately presents itself as a major jewelry piece, with the large center diamond, trapezoid side stones, pavé shoulders, and sculptural platinum gallery all working together in one cohesive composition.
At the center is a 3.51 carat “D” color, VVS clarity lab grown radiant-cut diamond whose faceting combines the crisp geometry of an emerald cut with the brilliance and energy of a round stone. That combination gives the diamond exceptional presence. Broad flashes of light move across the surface while the clipped corners preserve a strong architectural outline. The stone immediately commands attention, but the surrounding design ensures it feels integrated into the ring rather than isolated above it.
What truly elevates the design, however, is the extraordinary detailing beneath the setting. The gallery is filled with open scrollwork and intricate carved metal forms that resemble French Art Nouveau architecture in miniature.
